Here is the link Trailer

You can see how they are starting to build in some back story for the new trilogy (VII, VIII, IX) within the cartoon series. This is canon material.

I feel like Kanan, Ahsoka, Ezra and others will show up in a feature film somehow.

The big question, is that Snoke in there? They are making it feel that way.

I'm confused. If pretty much all the Jedi were wiped out in the prequels, then how does this show make sense having a bunch of Jedi (and what I assume are Sith because they are swinging red lightsabers, and rule of two and all that)

I was under the assumption that the Jedi were wiped out except the few that went into hiding

The Jedi weren't wiped out in the prequels. Most of them were. Plenty survived. Darth Vader spent the next 20 years hunting the Jedi down and killing them. The only thing we know for certain is they are all dead by the time Yoda dies.

How has this show been? I caught the first few episodes but missed several weeks after. I tried to go catch-up on the Disney XD app but, when I did, I couldn't tell which order the episodes went in so I just gave up.

Started slow is season 1, but it has picked up some steam. It is an interesting bridge between Episodes 3 and 4.

Pretty good though some of the humor is a little annoying. Only saw 3-4 episodes of season 2. I honestly don't expect any of them to survive. They won't show it but from several things, I think they'll be martyrs.

That was an awesome trailer!

Finally get to see the Vader/Ahsoka showdown Ive been waiting for.

Definitely got a Snoke vibe from "Old Master" but I cant imagine Disney would reveal who Snoke is via a cartoon show instead of one of the movies.

They would be pretty old if they survived into the new trilogy, but I could see them pop up in some "A Star Wars Story" spin-offs. I think at some point in this series Ashoka meets her final death. Ezra and Sabine might last into something else, maybe the parents of Rey

I could definitely see them in Rouge One. From reading the books, which tie into the shows, I feel like it's a bit of suggesting their ends. There's a character very similar to Sabine who gets tortured to death. There's a character very similar to Hera whose beheaded. It felt a little meta like we can't show you how these characters die but this is probably how they did.

I know for sure I want Ezra, Ashoka, and Kannan dead before A New Hope.

Woot! this is it, the moment we been waiting for as Ahsoka/Erza/and the rest of the Jedi's are completely purged by Vader. Thus earning him the rep of the Jedi killer.

Also sets up for a New Hope with Luke since their old hope was killed and destroyed.

We can only hope that after VII, VIII, and IX we get a prequel movie or two where they redeem what they did to vader in the Jar Jar Whiny Bitch Saga by watching him hunt down and kill every Jedi other than Yoda and Obi Wan. No heroes. No happy endings. Just Vader and the Emperor being complete badasses and slaughtering people.

I enjoy this show, though I do sometimes feel like an idiot when all of the toy and candy commercials come on.

That hooded character during the Old Master part looks just like Darth Maul.

I don't see this happening on a Disney XD show.
