Official Synopsis:
A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.
Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.
As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.
A lot of OHMSS references so far (Bullet hole logo, OHMSS theme music in trailer, alpine chase, etc.) including Bond pursuing the daughter of a known villain. I think my prediction of this being a loose remake of OHMSS is becoming more of a reality.

Waltz has made a living off of portraying wicked, sick fricks. It ought to be good.
On another note, I hope the producers don't frick Craig over like they did Brosnan. Pierce still have a couple of movies left in him. Assholes told him he had gotten too old. Craig took a little getting used to, but brings out a quality in the character that was not there prior. Hope they hang on to him for a little while.

Brosnan
Got fricked on both ends of his Bond run.
If NBC had not fricked him on front end (resurrecting Remington Steele even though it had been cancelled and holding him to his contract), he'd have been Bond in Living Daylights and License to Kill, in addition to the later films.

Waltz looks like he's gonna kill this role. I liked Skyfall a lot but given the hype for the villain leading up to its release, I thought Bardem's character fell flat. Not because of his acting by any means, but outside of a few good lines, there was just something missing compared to some iconic Bond villains

Spectre will be one of only two movies I see in theaters in the second half of the year.
I'll add The Martian to this for myself.

Yep. I think Lea Seydoux might be playing the Tracy Bond character in this movie.

Sorry to be that guy, but I thought it was a bit corny.

By the time Die Another Day came out, Bond had basically become a superhero. Batman-lite. They really had to take things in a new direction and it just would've been hard to do that with the a Bond that had just gone wind-surfing in order to avoid gigantic death ray just before getting in his invisible car. All of his lines had become one-lined puns.

Craig's Bond has taken the Bond throne in my world because he is a man of our times, he has that edge of dangerousness that no Bond other than former King Sean could project, and he does not smirk and gag his way around like that pretend Bond Roger Moore did. I can't wait for this one. I will go to the movies for it... and probably Star Wars.

He really has completely changed that character, and I for one, love it. Connery will always be my #1, I think he encapsulated Bond better. But Craig, he has a rawness, an edge, that no other Bond has been able to project. Seeing Bond this way, it just works.

Im a big fan of On Her Majesties Secret Service so I'm cool with it. This looks awesome to be honest. I am about as big of a Bond fanboy as you can get and this gets my attention. I'm giddy.

If any of you guys want to read the script, let me know.
I've read it twice and there's absolutely no way this movie is going to suck. It's already my second favorite Bond film and i haven't seen it yet (and second only because nothing can dethrone Casino Royale although I'll admit SPECTRE could be a better film. )
