Looks good, but

I don't like Waltz's line that says he is the mastermind behind his pain. I hope he doesn't mean he's been the mastermind behind everything that has happened in the recent Bond films, that feels weak and played out.

Well that's SPECTRE. We know from Casino Royale that Vesper was a double agent for a major criminal organization who the CIA and MI6 knew nothing about. This was all but confirmed in Quantum of Solace. It's very possible that the organization Vesper and Dominic Greene worked for was ultimately SPECTRE.

I think it was an organization that works for Spectre, because it did have a name. Think of Spectre as a conglomerate of evil, and the company Vesper was blackmailed into working for as a child company.

Though really, they were trying to use Spectre without actually using Spectre.

Edit: It was named Quantum.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say this, and attempt to not let my shame overwhelm me:

I had no idea "spectre" was pronounced "specter." I totally thought it was pronounced "spectra."

Yeah, I felt pretty silly when my sister confirmed that they are indeed pronouncing it correctly. But yeah, I'm so ready for this to be out yesterday.

Damn they show a lot in trailers these days. Anyone else turn it off halfway through?

Looks good enough for me to go to theaters for it.

I like the Day of the Dead aspect in Mexico. That will be good to watch.

But I agree, they show A LOT in trailers.

It's how the British spell things and how we used to spell things until Teddy Roosevelt helped shift us to a more phonetic spelling. Theatre vs theater, for example. We also cut out excess letters, such as programme (UK) vs program.

That's in another Bond film, right?

Or is that a plot in Johnny Quest. Can't remember.

Please note the OHMSS theme being played in parts of the trailer.

Possible loose remake of OHMSS?
