why does stephen sommers always have such horrible cgi in his movies? the mummy had good effects for the time that it came out in, but mummy returns and van helsing had some of the crappiest effects work ive seen in the last few years. this looks like the same thing where the effects are so bad they basically take you out of the movie. this movie will be horrible, but i think itll be one of those fun bad movies ala the happening where it is worth seeing just to laugh at.

yeah when the trailer first started I was wondering what everyone was complaining about, and then the action started. Horrible CGI.

I'll probably end up seeing it but it looks kind of shitty. And a positive thing to come of this will be the new cartoon shite that comes out because of it.

It's the Hollywood libs... they thought it would broaden the international appeal, the only thing is that GI Joe was an American IP that no one outside of the US knows/cares about. Typical Hollywood frickheads ruining great IP's.

On ebay they have some toys from the movie.Destro did have the mask,and cobra commander looked fricked up!

I'd love to see the GI Joe Resolute cartoon become a series but they would have to start it over because of what happens in the 1:30 movie that was on adult swim.

You'd think it would be ok for the leader of one of the world's largest terror organizations to have a questionable costume choice...
It's almost like the audience isn't supposed to like him or something. I swear, I will never understand some of the choices directors/writers make when adapting a story.
