I swear if Cap uses Mjornir in this movie I'm going to jump out of my seat and dance like a little girl.

Why? That would sort of aggravate me since I thought Mjolnir was basically only for Thor (or gods) and could only be wielded by him.

That trailer was solid, but it wasn't as good as the first trailer for me. For some reason, it left me underwhelmed. And don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the first Avengers and will easily be watching this one in theaters. But that trailer wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be (and clearly I am in the monority on this thread).

Anyone found "worthy" can wield Mjolnir, but very few have been found worthy. Captain America is one of the few that has been found worthy and wielded it in the comics.

The trailer was good but I much preferred the last trailer solely because of the scene at the beginning with them trying to lift Thor's hammer.

Honestly the most enjoyable parts of the first Avengers for me was the banter between the characters. I could watch a couple hours of scenes of them just shootin' the shite.

Cool, didn't know that.

Preciate the comics spoilers though.

looks that way, but that's perfectly acceptable in a Marvel film.

So you were planning on doing a Marvel Comics reading binge spanning the past 30 years or so (I think that particular event happened back in the 80s)? If so, I apologize for the spoiler.

The absence of Loki makes this one look pretty good
Awesome trailers and you still don't know what's going to happen

I dont understand how anyone can not be a fan of Loki. He is by far the best villain in the MCU so far.

SPOILER:

Tom Hiddleston is listed in the credits for this movie, Loki will have at least one scene plus he will be in the next Thor as well as the next two Avengers movies..Loki isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

Nah, man. I was completely being facetious/throwing back to old TWD threads.

My bad.

Oh trust me. I know all too well about those old TWD threads that would spiral into 10 pages of comic spoiler fights.

Thankfully that escalation hasn't happened in the comic movie and tv show threads.

No problem.

Admittedly I thought you were serious and about to go down that route. You had me worried there for a minute.

And to pile on to my Captain America/Mjolnor spoiler, Loki is also one of the few deemed worthy enough to wield Mjolnir.

Yeah, I know...
