Anyone watch this short series? I had read on some of the rankings where it was one of the better shows on Netflix. I have watched a lot of them.. Watched this series the past two days and I absolutely hated it. I cant even explain why I kept watching it. I am usually pretty upbeat on series and can pretty much enjoy anything but this was horrible.

Anyone else watch it and enjoy it?

Wife and I hated it too

Watched 3 episodes and laughed maybe 5 times. Maybe I just don't get it but I think it's highly overrated

This is the one with Aziz Ansari right? I've had it on my list for a while but never feel like starting it.

Good to know it isn't great. I may skip it. I do like AA sometimes but overall I don't think he's too great.

Good series imo. Very relatable for most 20 somethings.

Aziz might be annoying to some but his take on modern age dating is spot on

it was one of those shows that to me wasn't bad enough to stop watching but also wasn't that great. it's somewhat relatable as a late 20 something but was a little too preachy at times to me. i've never liked aziz that much, but i could tolerate him in the show.

boring show

alot of build up for situations with no payoff.

Aziz is trying to have his own "Louie", but he forgot to be funny.

Didn't like it. Think I made it four episodes. Can't remember why, think it just wasn't that funny and the acting was bad

Serious question: How old are you and where are you from? The show hits home for a lot of late 20's urban millenials, but seems to not connect with anyone outside of that demographic. I'm in that demographic and thought the show was great.

yea, I somewhat thought that could be the case. I am 49 and holding. Im no left winger. And it is not the constant racial BS or millennial BS that turned me off. It just was not funny and really had no plot what so ever. As someone above posted, it was not good enough to get into but I just didnt turn it off. Maybe I just didnt have anything better to do while I worked.

It was somewhat like the first season of Girls. (Yea, I watched for a little while). I fricking hated it but could not just turn it off for a while.

I have started watching Weeds now. I never saw any of it when it started. I watched the first 4 episodes today and it seems very good so far

I thought it was excellent.

The episode about the kids not knowing shite about their parents' lives was particularly good. Those were Aziz's real parents.

This is an over played comment made by people who don't like the show.

I have honestly read nothing about the show.

So I am not being unoriginal, and hat is my own thoughts on the show.

But is a bunch of people are all saying the same thing. . .maybe it isn't overplayed. . .maybe it just is?

I loved it and thought it was a Louie clone in a way.

the episode about living with his girlfriend was spot on. Kind of fricked with my head.
