Netflix originals recommendations?

I see that the Netflix Originals section has exploded with tons of new shows. I have no idea which ones are good and which ones aren't. I have watched the usual suspects already - House of Cards, Orange is the new Black, Lilyhammer etc.
Any recommendations on which of the new ones are good to start watching?

I can recommend one to not watch. The Crown. I gave it about 4 or 5 episodes before giving up. It was just too damn boring.

Peaky Blinders is probably the most popular recommendation on this board for NetFlix Originals/Exclusives. It's about an organized crime family in England back in the day.
The Last Kingdom is good historical fiction. It's based on a popular series of books about an Englishman that was raised by Vikings and tries to navigate both worlds.
Stranger Things is great, especially if you grew up in the 80's. It's like Goonies meets X-Files
I'm only 3 episodes in but The OA has been very good so far. It's another scifi show and it was the best first episode of a show I've seen in several years. You're constantly wondering WTF is going on, in a good way, and it really sucks you in.
If you're looking for a comedy, Master of None and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt were both good.

I enjoyed The Crown, but I've always been intrigued by Elizabeth II and how she came to power anyway. I don't know that I'd recommend it unless you're into that timeframe of British history. I get why people may not be crazy about it.
Highly recommend Stranger Things. It might be their best series to date.
Peaky Blinders
Bloodline
I've heard good things about The Last Kingdom from some of the Vikings posters on the board, but haven't watched it yet. It's next on my list.

Peaky Blinders and The Last Kingdom aren't Netflix Originals.

The ranch is a good comedy. I think its a netlfix original.

Yeah that's why I said /exclusives because of someone with OCD like you. If you read the OP he's looking for something to choose from the NetFlix Originals section, and whether they produced it or not they call it a NetFlix original.

Technically no, but also yes because they say in big bold letters "Netflix original"

Netflix has taken to labeling shows they have exclusive "broadcast" rights to as "Netflix Originals".
I consider "OITNB", "House of Cards", "Bloodline" as something different than "The Fall", "Paranoid", "Fauta" etc.
All these new "Netflix Originals" are just foreign shows being distributed on Netflix.
I watched "Paranoid" and the new season of "The Fall" weeks ago through torrents. They were broadcast on iTV. Now I see them on Netflix labeled "Netflix Original". Lies. That's like calling "Luther" a "Netflix Original" or "The Wire" and "Amazon Prime Original" because Amazon has the streaming rights.
And I've just typed the words "Netflix" and "Original" way too many times to make a pointless point. Merry Christmas!

Off the top of my head Stranger Things and Jessica Jones were both great watches. Like any producers of television series Netflix has their share of misses so I'd suggest watching the first episode of a show.
Granted, with me, some shows didn't make it through the first episode when I watched them.

I forgot Jessica Jones as well. It's been my favorite of the Marvels bunch so far (even though I admittedly have not finished Daredevil).

Sense8
The best of Netflix's shows, you have to get over the overly push of bi, homo and lesbian sex etc. Not impressed with the new 2 hour episode.
Stranger Things
Good but had a major flaw late in the show.
The OA
Maybe a masterpiece. needs a season 2 to answer some questions.
Not originals:
Cleverman
Liked it, nothing to writ home about. Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) plays a major role in this show.
The Returned
Very good
The Returned
French version, still have 8 episodes left.
Glitch
This is very good.

I actually like The OA more than Stranger Things. Brit Marling is brilliant. You should check out Another Earth, a movie she wrote/starred in.
