Need Non-Cable Show Suggestions For Wife & I

We cut our cable due to stupid costs and now have Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. on our Roku 3. We've started watching Rules of Engagement, and we recently finished Big Bang Theory (at least caught up), Modern Family (caught up) & Fresh Off The Boat. She's watching The Walking Dead with one of her girlfriend's as I don't care too much for Zombie type shows. We more or less like the comedy shows. Any suggestions?

House of Cards
Peaky Blinders
Bloodline
Do you have HBO Now?

We tried House of Cards but we both were bored halfway into the first episode. It was just insanely slow. We do not have HBO Now. Is there a subscription service for it as well like Netflix?

Yes, you can get only HBO with HBO Now for $15/month I think. It's well worth it. I'm cutting the cord today, actually. So I'm in your boat.
Do yourself a favor and keep watching House of Cards. Power through the first couple episodes. It's insanely good.

Also, do you have Amazon Prime?

I am currently rewatching Taxi on Hulu plus. Great cast and watching Andy Kaufman as Latka ( Latka is an immigrant from a strange foreign land, often speaking in his foreign tongue)
Latka telling a joke
Christopher Lord as Rev Jim is really is a great addition to the cast. Taking driver license test
These two short scenes are examples of the humor. I watched this series when it was on tv and am enjoying again.

We do have Amazon Prime. I think I am going to pass on the HBO subscription. If we subscribe to too many things, we might as well have kept cable
Thank you all for the suggestions so far! I will show her the list tonight and we will sit down and start reading about the shows and will have plenty to watch for the foreseeable future.

Only 10 episodes total for the first 2 seasons. Don't take it seriously. It is amusing.

Network TV isn't too hot right now, but there's a few decent sitcoms on ABC with "Fresh Off the Boat", "The Goldbergs", "Modern Fmily", and "Blackish". Also, "Galavant" was money for a mini-series, which they should be bringing back.
NBC seems to have some really great horror/dramas like "Dracula" and "Hannibal". Also, they're bringing back "Heroes", but their comedies have really taken a hit lately with the endings of "The Office", "Parks and Recreation", and "Community".
CBS has tons of procedural cop shows, terrible laugh-track sitcoms, and "The Blacklist". That's about it.
FOX has "Gotham". "Sleepy Hollow" is kinda interesting, but I could never really get into it. FOX has had some really cool concepts that they've rolled out only to cancel after a couple episodes. As far as comedies, they pretty much only have the animated ones ("The Simpsons" and "Family Guy") left. Even "American Dad" has moved on to TBS). They've never really recovered on that front from when "That 70's Show" and "Malcom in the Middle" ended. That show "The Last Man on Earth" looks interesting, though.

That's good though, you have 3 year old HBO content to watch.
so you have full series:
Curb your Enthusiasm
Deadwood
Entourage
Sex and the City
The Wire

shite! I need to finish The League. I forgot about that one, and L O L to whoever downvoted me for not liking House of Cards. I'm devastated, distraught even. I don't know if i'll recover
