I'm watching Tropic Thunder and keep thinking to myself how this movie really should be much better and much funnier considering the cast and the interesting premise.

Another one is Public Enemies. Damn that movie was boring.

Terminator 3. John Conner goes through Judgement Day and is captured by the machines. He escapes to lead the resistance.

T4. No idea on this one's plot, but they can do a Hell of a lot better than they did.

Quantum of Solace. Bond, James Bond chases the bad guys to Dubai and kicks/nails all kinds of freaky arse.

I love TT. One of my top 5 comedies of all time. Downey's performance is right up there with Baldwin in Glengary Glen Ross as the best ever.

I'm like the only person who laughs every time I watch Tropic Thunder. It's so stupid but Robert Downey Jr playing a black dude just makes me happy.

Jurassic Park. The book had that warden guy rolling around in a Jeep with a goddamn TOW missile on back. The movie gave us a doucehbag with a shotgun.

Every Steven King movie since Stand by Me other than It.

Bowfinger.

Considering the cast and the actually not bad story, I thought it could have been better.

The Road. Incredible book and I understand it's a difficult novel to bring to the big screen but I know it could have been much better than it was. Left out too much imo.

The Simpsons movie.

I knew it wasn't going to be like the Simpsons in its prime, but they kept talking about how they brought back all the old writers.
But I didn't think it was nearly funny or interesting enough to warrant its existence.

And I recall an environmental message.

Watchmen

For me, a few simple changes would've made it great.

Bowfinger was perfect for what it was.

Jurassic Park was a near flawless adaptation.

Tropic Thunder was so unique you can't have expectations like these.

You guys need to list better ones.

I was going to say Ides of March as a joke, cause that's what I've been hearing.

My go at it:

Green Lantern. If it was slowed down some and no love interest it'd be better.

Seriously. I was thinking about this the other day. Assuming A Christmas Story is a comedy:

1. Vacation
2. A Christmas Story
3. Cable Guy
4. Anchorman
5. TT

Most of the Adam Sandler/Chris Farley/David Spade/Vince Vaughn, etc., movies, I can watch over and over, but those five are in a league of their own.
