But others set during Christmas such as:
Die Hard
Gremlins
Home Alone

Any others of quality come to mind..?

In Rocky IV Rocky fights Drago on Christmas Day if I remember correctly.

The Ice Harvest. Underrated classic with John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton.

Best answer so far IMO. The movie definitely revolves around it being Christmas, but everyone is very much in a non-giving mood.

Why is Home Alone in the second list? I would like to hear an explanation.

I probably misclassified Home Alone, I guess no explicit Christmas in the title led me there. Most of the story is very Christmas related - definitely a favorite of mine BTW saw the house/neighborhood when in Chicago.

John Hughes was a genius.
