So do y'all watch those? Specifically, the ones on there that are still in theaters?

I guess I'm a bit gun shy after getting a cease & desist letter from my ISP for using bit torrent to download a bunch of HBO shows 10 or so years ago.

I watch them all the time. Never had a problem streaming the movies or tv shows.

Not really, because usually the quality is pretty bad. And if it's a movie I want to see bad enough, I'll go to the theater to watch it, like Switch and John Wick 2.

I don't watch the films that are filmed with a camera.

That has more to do with you downloading a file that had been flagged.

Only when they get a hd or 1080p feed.

I'm not watching a crap feed just to see it a month early.

That makes sense. I didn't look at the available streams for any of them, just noticed them all listed. I did pull up a couple of older movies to see the quality. Picture was great, but on both the audio track seemed out of sync. May have been because I was casting from my phone to the Chromsecast?

I love Exodus. My 7 years old has watched the Lego Bauman Movie four times this weekend. It's in terrible quality, so it's fine for her...

Tech board. First page of the cord cutting thread. Also use a fire tv instead of the fire stick.

I only watch in 1080p, but I did watch The Founder in 720 this weekend. I really wanted to see it, or I'd have waited a few more months till it's in 1080p.

There's still a huge difference in 720 and 1080, and I have no idea how anybody can watch anything in 480.

I usually wait about 3 months after movie has been in theater to watch on Kodi. By that time the movies are in better quality. My kids watch the kid movies all the time because they don't give a crap about the quality because they are instant gratification kids.

This has introduced my kid to some awesome shite for her....right now we are on Trolls (can't get past that music...she listens to it every morning ).

We've watched old Disney movies that you can't buy or rent right now....it's awesome.

Yeah, I spent at least an hour yesterday just exploring the available content. So many movies I've either never seen, or haven't see in a LONG time that are never available on Netflix streaming.

A friends dad was trying to pitch Kodi to me by telling me you can watch movies that are still in the theater. I told him there is no way that the quality is any good because it would have to be guys filming the movies in a theater. Glad to know that I was right.

It's rare but some of them are great quality while in the theaters.
