Do they actually deliver food and drink during the movie, that would seem to be a distraction. I shudder to think how messy these places will be and could see rats crawling all over the place.
Plus I don't like eating in the dark.

The theaters I've been to like this in Texas the waiters don't get in your way. They also are wayyyy more clean than any Cinemark or AMC.

I've never been to a movie tavern so I'll reserve judgment on it until after it opens....but Alamo drafthouse is the shite and I can see myself going there way more after it opens.

I'm just glad BR is finally getting theaters like this.

I'd prefer the theater that doesn't have the craft beer crowd. They're the ones that try to impress everyone by commenting during the movie.

You've obviously never been to an Alamo drafthouse. You get kicked out of the movie if you talk or pull out your phone and they are notorious for actually following through with this rule.

We have a few simple principles that we uphold in our day to day operation:
1. We don't allow unaccompanied kids at movies and only allow babies at select "baby day" screenings.
2. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards talking and texting during the movie. If you talk or text, you will receive one warning. If it happens again, you will be kicked out without a refund.
3. We strive to be leaders in presentation quality.
4. We support local breweries.
5. We strive to serve quality, fresh-prepared food.

There sure are alot of people on Facebook pissed off because LSU was the only university mentioned for student discounts. From the comments:

No discounts for Southern University Students??? I wonder why...

I'm not sure whether to or

As far as the beer selection goes, the one in Covington had Canebrake and a few other local brews last time I went, maybe this one will as well

I just hate the idea of a decently expensive night out where my best choice of beer is bud light. No excuse for that.

Go to a film festival and enjoy as the hipsters pontificate on the nuances of the film.

Don't worry, my sister's cousin's neighbor said they're building one in Baker too. The beer selection is slightly different........
