Cried like a damn baby.

The Exorcist as a whole had me screwed up.

And while in hindsight it's nothing to get screwed up over, when I saw The Blair Witch Project in theaters as a high schooler getting ready to go on a camping trip (a white, brunette chick no less) and I saw this scene....

I was fricked up. Really unsettling. Goosebumps thinking about it.

Two scenes in Irreversible. If you've seen the movie, I'm sure you'll know which ones.

The scene in "The Cell" where D'onofrio is suspended over the dead bleached out chick. Messed with my sleep patterns for a few days.

The scene in "Silence of the Lambs" where the police make it into the room where Lecter was being held only to find the guard "crucified" while hanging from the bars of the cell.

Also, the fog scene in Silver Bullet fricked me up as a kid. It's one of the movies that scared me away from horror movies as a kid. Even as a kid, I knew werewolves were fake, but I was always kinda freaked out by low-lying fog like in the movie.

As a kid, the made for TV movie Salem's Lot was scary as frick to a 12 year old. The scene of the little brother hovering outside the window, scratching on the glass. I didn't sleep much that week.

Thanks. I've got "When A Stranger Calls Back" on DVD. I think the first 20 or so minutes is the most suspense I have ever seen built up into a movie and is spine tingling (hopefully the phone doesn't ring when you watch that part). The ending is great as well. The middle part is more of a drama. But overall, I love this movie.

ET.. the fist encounter scene when he throws the baseball in the shack, it gets thrown back, goes inside to tell his peeps, tells his brother he has penis breath, goes back outside, finds tracks, then tracks the prints out into the woods... When he shines his flashlight on ET .. fricking scarred me as a kid...

The scene in Pet Sematary after the Dad buries his son, hoping he comes back. The son calls him on the phone & tells him that "Gage wants to play Daddy". For the love of everything holy, that creeped me out.

ETA - Also when the kid slices the old man's achilles tendon. I cringe every time I think about it.

fricking THIS.

Also, in E.T. when Elliot finds E.T. in the creek bed and he's all white and dying... that gave me nightmares for months (obviously when I was a little kid).
