for some reason or another.

A just a few for me are:

Galaxy of Terror: the scene where the worm strips off the chicks clothes then starts "eating" her....at one point, she sounds as though she likes it. Freaked me out as a kid....I was like, how could they put this in a movie?

Saving Private Ryan: the scene where Adam Goldberg gets stabbed by the German. Too fricking real.

Carrie: two scenes, the first was when Carrie was slinging knives at her mom and when she finally died, her mom was hanging there like Jesus. The second was when Carrie reached out of the ground and grabbed the chicks hand. I didn't sleep the night I watched that as a kid.

not movie, but the season 2 finale of the west wing replays in my head constantly, especially the end scene when Jed Bartlet is walking to the press conference to Dire Straights Brothers In Arms.

Dude, you need to watch some comedies or something...those are some scary scenes to be carrying around inside your head!

Back to original question: the scene where "Mama" is dying in Forest Gump, even though the "Life is like a box of chocolates" line got overplayed.

Ezekiel 25:17

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish, and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will, shepards the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and fuuuuuurious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

In one of the Children of the Corn movies, when the guy in church bleeds from ALL of his orifaces.....geeeeeeez that was disgusting....

and in Erin Brochovich, when the lawyer dude suggests that she rethink her wardrobe: her reply is awesome: As long as I have 1 arse instead of 2, I'll wear what I want... You may want to rethink that tie....lmao x 2

Try Dr. Strangelove. The scene in the war room when President Muffley is on the phone with the Soviet Premier Kissoff. I saw that for the first time with my Dad when I was pretty young, and it really introduced me to a much smarter and more mature brand of comeday. I found that scene absolutely hysterical the way it was presented with only hearing one side of the conversation but knowing exactly what the other person was saying anyway.

Samuel L. Jackson should have won more awards for that performance...but which recitation is your favorite?

Sharon Stone's 1st love scene with Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct. I was a teenager when I first saw it. It played a big part in my development.
