I'm watching Weird Science, and I'm being reminded that this premise is so absurd that it's truly incredible that the movie is respected at all. Wow. Some other ones:

Hot Tub Time Machine
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

ETA: I also don't think they could get away with the relationship between a 23 year-old and a 15 year-old these days.

Especially the last scene where she is a gym teacher.

It'll always be nostalgic for me, but I watched the whole thing a few weeks ago and was surprised at how poorly it holds up nowadays. And yeah, there were some questionable things that went on in that movie (legality-wise).

I'll always love it though.

We would need an entire Outkicked Their Coverage thread for all of the actors in that situation.

Possibly an entire forum.

Technically, she's a newborn so Wyatt and Gary are actually the sickos in the situation.

The same rationalization used by 45 year old women who lust after teen actors in vampire roles and say, "He's not a teen, he's a 200 year old vampire stuck in a teen's body."

I hate this movie

You can do suspension of belief in movies like Bill & Ted just because its so impossible that you just have to take it for what it is

But Accepted tries its hardest to make it seem realistic and plausible, instead it just leaves plothole after plothole and inconsistency after inconsistency.
