Most insulting ad campaigns

Sure some ads are annoying, some are stupid, but to me the worst are the ones that are essentially a bunch of out of touch ad execs tell me "frick you ya dumb plebe, buy this product" as if I can't comprehend just how full of shite they are. These kind of ads are so loathsome to me they actually make me actively hate the product they are shilling.
Usually the ads where they pretend to have actors they find off the street don't bother me too much. In fact, the ones that are in hour long ads you see run late night and early morning for products you might see Ron Popeil sell can be pretty entertaining.
However, there is one that makes me want to put my fist through a wall. It's so dumb that I can't comprehend how it was given the ok.
Chevy and their ad campaign where they pretend to ask random people about their cars needs to end. From using emoji to describe their feelings, to idiots being surprised every Chevy vehicle they see is an "award winner", to a fool thinking a damn Malibu is a BMW or Audi, they have taken the slack jawed idiot everyman garbage to a new level of insulting.

The emoji one makes me irritated.

The investment one where the child doesnt understand why you dont get a refund if your portfolio doesnt perform well. And then the dad is like "that's just the way it works "
The kid responds "why?" And the dad is like "I'm not sure" and thinks a bit more and says "you know, you're right, it shouldn't work that way"

Yes, the leader of those Chevy focus groups has gotten under my skin for quite some time now
He comes off as someone who's used to being the smartest guy in a room full of idiots

Liberty Mutual's Commercials, " But when it comes to incessantly stupid, Liberty Mutual’s new campaign has the market cornered."
" Liberty Mutual’s strategy of targeting gullible people who have no concept about how risk and depreciation work."

It's always the husband/father who's the idiot in commercials.

I totally picture him being the type of guy who says in a condescending tone... "guys we don't have to work harder, we have to work smarter"

I concur with you. I can't even imagine Chevy executives not being annoyed at those commercials. "You can only answer in emojis"? Who is that supposed to draw in to buy cars?

Spotify has especially annoying commercials to try togoad you to subscribe to avoid them

He's that distant cousin on your in-laws' side who shows up at Christmas and explains to the old ladies how text messages are different than iMessages, and even though he sounds sure of his facts he gets several of them wrong. And you don't feel like even bothering to acknowledge him because the game is on and it's not worth it.

Back to the topic, I want to add this one:
The viewer is supposed to believe that if someone smashes their car into a tree, they shouldn't bear any responsibility or have their rates go up. I guess Liberty Mutual caters to the economically illiterate.

These are the absolute worst. I don't find them surprising given their target audience of kids that expect free shite.

The second I saw then topic I thought Chevy ads with metrosexual spokesman telling gruff and manly men that anything other than a comfy and high tech Chevy truck simply won't win any "awards". Emoji one just turned it into stupidity. Of course they have to try and redeem the girly man by having Captain Hadley(Clancy Brown) be the narrator at the end. Of course I'm a Ford guy till the day I die so that doesn't help.
Anything with stupid white dad/husband is second which is 70% of the commercials. Guess I should be happy I can just put my pants on correctly every morning and let the woman take care of everything.

I love that car commercial, forget which one, where they show people this car with every feature imaginable and then say "this car starts at $17,000" and everybody's mind is blown and then you look at the fine print on the bottom and it says "as shown $40,000" or something outrageous.

Also the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial about "serious sports" at lunch that's only available at lunch on weekdays. Are those guys watching the highlights on sportscenter or something?
