one of my favorite movies...I would be hard pressed to provide a ranking of any sort.

A lot of people said MM was the wrong choice for lead in this movie but I think he did a good job here. Enjoyed the movie and Noah was good too.

Was kinda suprised how he (noah) jumped sides so easily. Took a chance with a lesser ballclub.

Watch at least part of it every time it's on, which has been pretty often, and PSH is a trip as a baseball skipper. Couple observations:

Wtf with Pitt stuffing food in his face in movies-has this been covered by the MTV board?

And count how many times in the film the phrase "you got a minute?" is followed by a conversation that does NOT end well.

as a stand alone movie, it makes for great drama

It is an interesting story with a good moral


but as a faithful adaptation, not so much

So it depends on what you are looking for

I really really enjoyed it and respect it for what it is

very good movie for brad pitt. in fact, probably the best movie ive ever seen with that clown in it.
