Haven't seen the first part. That said, this book being split into two movies is a joke.

I'll eventually see it to finish off the series but that trailer is a disjointed mess

Really? I went to see part 1 and 2 in theaters. The critical and audience reviews did not seem to like this part very much. I suspect it was because it was ridiculous so split it up story wise (obviously not profit wise). Never read the books but the source material is reportedly lacking as well.

I think I didn't see Part 1 in theaters (or yet) as my subliminal attempt to protest this tactic.

I dont like it that much, it just feels..I don't know. If Rod Serling had written it and Stanley Kubrick had directed it I would probably like it more.

like twilight should have ended this series with one Mockingjay movie, part 1 was a waste of time

I saw the first two, but never saw part one. It's supposed to be about girl power or something, but it's really just a two hour fashion show with toy boys and dreamy hunks. It kind of flies in its own face, and also feels kind of communist.

I thought the first movie was fun. I cant remember how far i made it into the second movie but i stopped watching it. It was pretty lame. Never attempted to see the third flick.

Most of the frutopian tweener movies are going this route.
The 3rd divergent book is also being split into 2 movies from what I gather.

Same as the Marie Lu books
