Watched "Mitt" on Netflix last night. Very well done and gave unique insight to Romney and his run for President.

2 takeaways. 1) why would anyone run for President?? Absolutely grueling process. 2) Could Romney have won the election this time had he decided to run? The movie really paints a flattering picture of him.

Mitt would've had a chance, but Jeb got such a head start on him as far as fundraising and support, that it would've made things difficult for Mitt. They basically pull from the same fundraising sources and Mitt saw that it would've been tough to gain any traction. His flirting for a week or two was basically a trial balloon and you could tell the reception from party insiders was kind of cold. Oddly enough, it probably would've been easier for him to beat Hillary than it would've been to win the Primary.

That said, if his campaign had done more to show the Mitt that was featured in the documentary, then I think he could've won in 2012. Not wanting to get into a political debate, but I believe Romney would've been a great President.
