Matt Reeves in talks to take over The Batman

Does Zack Snyder still have any power over this movie and the entire DCEU?

Great news that he's involved in the franchise. I still think a lot will hinge on the sucess of Justice League. It will have to make serious money AND get good critical reception. I don't have much faith in the latter at the moment.

Just take a blank check over to Bruce Timm and beg him to reboot the entire thing.
Then take a blank check over to a competent director and beg him to direct.
Then take Warner Brothers entire Executive production studio department and ban them from the premise and the editing room.

Lots of conflicting reports right now. Last I heard, Chris Terri had touched up a script from Affleck and Johns.

Reeves is a freaking awesome director. I can't believe he didn't get one of the Star Wars movies and freaking trevorrow did

ETA: I hope they give Chris McKay some involvement in the live action franchise. He'd be perfect for a Shazam movie or maybe even a Superman film.
