Just put it on from starz. This was one of my favorite movie from the 80's. I would get nightmares as a kid.

At the end skeletor reeapears and says he would be back. Why no sequel?

It's the chic from They Live. She was not very good looking in that movie.

I think it still holds up. It was classic 80s cheesiness.

Great movie from my youth

Man, that movie was terrible... and that's coming from a huge He-Man fan. Even as a kid I hated it. Langella was a good Skeletor but I wasn't crazy about the way they did his makeup. Meg Foster was a good Evil Lyn, but I hated the fact they came to earth. They did that to save money and it was stupid. Should have taken place on Eternia.

I hated how they replaced the henchmen with Saurod, Blade, and Karg. They had Beastman, but Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, and Mer-Man got the shaft.

They needed to make it similar to Beastmaster. That movie was awesome.

They keep having rumors about a new movie coming out but it always falls through. A remake needs to be done. If done right it could be a very awesome movie... lots of characters at their disposal.

Maybe this would be a lot easier to do today with CGI if they ever do a remake

Agree, they should have capitalized on the popularity of the Filmation cartoon and used the toy line henchmen. And they waited about two to three years too late to make the movie. He Man was on its way out as a popular toy line by 1987.

Cannon was nearly bankrupt when they started the movie. They had to cut costs and I believe the director ending up paying to do a few scenes out of his paycheck. Cannon was basically done as a company after this failed at the box office.

A sequel was planned, but the script was re-written and it became the movie Cyborg.
