Obligatory Jersey Tiger comment:

Mash sucked once Blake and Trapper were gone.

Great character, and was very successful after MASH. Godspeed, Wayne.

Amen. BJ was such a downer after Trapper John's natural humor.

He was great as Trapper. He was also very solid on the Fox business/investment shows.

Sorry to hear this. I didn't watch MASH (too young), but I did catch him on his regular spot on one of the FOX business channel shows.

RIP Trapper. Original was the best cast. Frank Burns is one of the most underrated characters in TV history.

He really isn't.

I'm a Winchester man. He is the underrated one.

Burns was nothing more than a punching bag.

Winchester gave back some times.

Plus Ogden Stiers can act circles around Linville.

That he was.

A rare Hollywood conservative, too.

RIP, Wayne.

Meanwhile Mike Farrell sucks even more in real life than on the show.
