They are going to have to nerf him for him to make sense. He's waaaayyyyyy too powerful.

Strange is set for the Fall and there are already trailers playing in theaters. Defenders isn't slated to begin filming until the end of 2016.

I don't understand what Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and maybe Punisher are supposed to do against him. MAYBE if they had Ghost Rider. But you can't just punch or shoot Mephisto and hope to win.

The second part of that article states the only ones that can fight him.. moon knight, blade, and ghost rider can fight something from hell...

Daredevil still gets his arse kicked on the regular, jessica and Luke are the same , minus Luke's skin... and iron fist is dr. Strange with karate. ..
But Netflix has been solid so far... I'll trust them

I think if Strange does well it will help get people hip to the Idea of a little more mysticism in the Marvel world.
Also Iron Fist will too. I am pumped for Iron Fist and i hop Loras Tyrell can play someone other than a fop.

I thought I had heard a while back that Kilgrave would be the main villain for the Defenders. Course, you have to explain how he could survive getting his neck snapped, but that sort of stuff happens all the times in the comics.

That would be one way to tie the films in with the TV/Netflix series: The founder of the Defenders in the comics is Doctor Strange.
Also, now you could bring in Marc Spector, Johnny Blaze, or Eric Brooks and introduce them to the MCU.
