I was 8 when that movie came out and I remember those guns that burnt people into skeletons scaring the shite out of me.

I really wish they would do a remake that followed the books. I remember reading the books in middle school they were awesome.

The only scene that really got me was the scene where the aide is trying to hook up with the disguised alien and she bites his finger off and spits it into an aquarium.

Those aliens scared the shite out of me too. I remember watching it and then would never look at the movie again until I was probably 14 or so.
