Tom Hardy estimated he has between 4-20 lines of dialogue in the whole movie. I'm in.

I have to skip that part in Road Warrior because I have a blue heeler/Australian cattle dog. Road Warrior was the reason I chose that breed

Road Warrior is great, best car chase scene of all time.
a lot of parts in that movie are "extravagant" - sopping up spilled gasoline with rags and squeezing it out in a bowl.

They've been trying to make this movie for so long -- they talked about shooting it in the early 2000s with Mel Gibson, then when he lost interest, Heath Ledger was going to star in it. I think they may have started filming two or three years ago. I'm fairly intrigued.

I honestly don't expect much. I'm not a big fan of the originals, though. It has my interest, but I go in with no expectation.

My second most anticipated movie of the summer. I expect it to be completely insane.

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that this was not a reboot but a continuation.

Also I liked both Mad Max and Road Warrior much more than ThunderDome, but I saw TD first when I was a kid and loved it so it has a special place in my heart.
The first two are far superior and as you get older you understand more about what makes a good quality film.

Mad Max is great.

The Road Warrior is one of the best films ever made.

I don't really like Thunderdome.

This. Exactly this.

Road warrior was by far the best of the three.

This new and looks promising.

It looks good, but Charlize has been movie poison lately. It's not her fault, but the movies do tend to suck.

BTW, I actually fought a guy in Thunderdome at Burning Man 2005.

It bugs me that all we've seen in the trailers are a bunch of action sequences.

If that's all it is, it will be disappointing. The Road Warrior had great action, but a lot of plot and character development as well.

And I wouldn't call Miller the cant miss storyteller of our time. He's had some real turds as well. Ana again, Charlize hasn't exactly been on a winning streak lately either, especially in films of this scope.

If I hear that guy say "it's a glorious day" one more time, I'm going to shoot him in the dick.
