I might be in the minority, but Luther didn't really interest me that much.

I did like The Fall, so that's my answer

Luther. One of my absolute favorite series. I heard they are filming a new episode.

The Fall is good, but Luther is great.

Why: Idris Elba is awesome.

The Fall was pretty awesome IMO. Haven't watched Luther yet.

Also, check out Happy Valley, Broadchurch & Southcliffe

Luther by far.

The fall gets too much into the whole gender equality BS.

I don't think that was the case at all. Gillian Anderson's character really had her professional shite together and she acted like a dude. (She would unapologetically pick up younger men, screw 'em and send 'em packing from her hotel room.) And she had no qualms about using her sexuality to make Paul off-kilter.

And to answer your question, while I liked Luther when I saw it a few years ago, I haven't seen more than the first season. (I keep meaning too, because I think Idris Elba is a bad motherfricker and Ruth Wilson is pretty attractive). On the other hand, we watched both seasons of The Fall in less than a week.

Luther, but the fall is solid. The Brits do great television.

Yeah, they beat us over the head on how Anderson's character is as good as or better than a man. and (Spoiler below)

she basically equated the serial killer with the police chief guy that was being too aggressive with her. She said something to the effect of how men will just take what they want unless women stop them (or something to that effect).

Love love love love love Luther. I couldn't thank the person who forced me to watch it enough.

I have not seen The Fall, but I have no heard that it is better--and if I remember correctly, I believe I was told it would be too scary for me

I find it to be a show that gets better and better as you go, which is always nice. Rewatched the series over the past month, and got hyped all over again when the final two episodes were on.
