I will be traveling for work and have some free time to watch a series. I am looking for a thriller-crime-suspense type of show.

Anyone got any recommendations?

A lot of people keep telling me a need to watch Dexter, i guess i will check this one out first. Is it pretty suspenseful or is it just a crime show?

Its both.. Dexter is a forensics expert by day and a serial killer by night It gets very suspenseful.

But he takes it out on all the bad guys. So, it makes it a good show.

Definitely Dexter

I kept putting it off because I wasn't interested and I don't typically like popular things at the time. I finally started watching it and enjoyed it enough to binge. Dexter eventually gets wack towards the later seasons but I enjoy it up until like season 5.

You could also try The Americans

Personally I really love Dexter and I'm not really a tv show person. More into movies or tv comedy shows.

Ha ha I wouldn't consider that spoilerish at all.

It's hard to sustain greatness for any show that long. I wasn't giving any hints or anything. I still enjoyed it all the way through, I just didn't care for the theme of some of the later seasons. That's not giving anything away.

Spoiler room is funny though.

Sopranos if you've never seen it, also True Detective season 1, or if you want something lighter try Silicon Valley.

I've enjoyed it; but they may lose me next season. It had the best episode of the series this year; but the repeating plots are driving me mad.
