Just saw it.

What an emotional roller coaster..I shed a single tear at the end. The action/killing was superb! Great/Good performances all the way around.

Haters will say it dragged, but the payoff at the end is beautiful..the most moving superhero movie I've ever seen.

4/5 for me

It definitely dragged in some parts but there was a good payoff at the end of every slow part that made it worth it. I didn't think it was as great as most are saying but it's definitely good. A solid 6.5 / 10

Sabretooth?

He's off doing Sabretooth things. He just shows up at random when Logan is enjoying a quiet cup of coffee with his steak and eggs.

They then fight for a few panels and he goes off to do Sabretooth things again.

This is so spot on I literally LOLed

Inclusion has pretty much always been the message of X-men since the very beginning of the comics.

Most people miss the whole point behind the X-men comics in regards to this. The whole thing is about fear of people who are different.

Born sometime around the American Revolution if I'm not mistaken. I believe he fought in it.

I finally got to see this (I was sick when I originally set to go and then I had to catch up at work for days missed).

I really enjoyed it. It certainly used the R rating.

What was odd for me was that it was such a serious film with gravitas, that the abundance of violence and cursing seemed almost out of place. It needed to be violent and to have cursing. But to that degree seemed odd. Killing someone in a gruesome manner to establish how gritty it is. Almost every henchman was brutally killed. Even Professor was cursing.

I enjoyed the movie. It certainly is one of the better comic book movie. But it seemed like they were worried that they couldn't limit the violence once they showed it.

See, that worked for me. It was hilarious seeing him cuss. That is what very old, senile men do. I thought Stewart was simply brilliant in this film.

That's what every depiction of Wolverine in the past has missed. The man is waving around six 18 inch long unbreakable razor blades, a lot of people are SUPPOSED to die. Before this movie that's always been glossed over.

Am I the only one who thought the girl looked like that Lucas Haas?

I agree that they needed some really brutal kills. I just felt they needed some restrain with it.

But my view may come from the fact that in the comics for this movie, Wolverine refuses to pop his claws. I was hoping the openning scene would have had Logan take his beatdown and hold back. It would seem a little disappointing because we all know Logan could easily kill them all, but when he finally has to pop them, it would mean more. Granted not if he just goes crazy at the first encounter with the Marauders, but they could write that one with Laura doing the major of the fighting.

Like I said, I really enjoyed it. I just expected them to include a few more nods to the comics storyline.

I will never be able to enjoy the kid friendly Marvel films after seeing this. Was that scientist the grown up Jason in X2 with the different colored eyes? Also, was I the only one who thought Xavier's death was a dream at first?

Was definitely a good movie, but I will say I caught myself checking my watch a lot in the final act. I thought the movie was all but over once they buried Xavier. It still had 40 minutes left.

Definitely my favorite Wolverine movie. Probably 4th favorite X-men movie behind DoFP, First Class and X2 in no particular order.

Saw this last night. Wasn't prepared for that much emotion... Really good writing and acting. The plot was okay. I wish we could have gotten a little more about what got them to this place between X killing off a bunch at the school and the doctor's motives. Solid B+.

I thought it was really good and we finally got to see the Wolverine we all wanted. It was a perfect way for Jackman to go out as Wolverine. I heard a bunch of people sniffling in the theater.
