Dan Stevens is awesome, so yeah, solid cast. This should be good.

And Stevens for Iron Fist. Make it happen Disney.

Loads and Loads of money made by continuing to rehash the same stories. Although they do get creative. Beauty and the Beast is a great story so seeing another version could be fun.

Pretty sure there will singing numbers. Ema Watson is actually a good singer. Here are some tidbits about it:
quote:

Unlike previous re-adaptations like Alice in Wonderland (2010), Maleficent (2014), and Cinderella (2015), which are only inspired to the classics Alice in Wonderland (1951), Sleeping Beauty (1959), and Cinderella (1950), this will be a much more faithful remake of the original 1991 animated movie, with all the musical numbers proposed again. Plus, it will finally introduce some (or all) of the songs from the 1994 Broadway musical, like "Home", "If I Can't Love Her", and "A Change in Me".
quote:

Alan Menken, who scored the original Beauty and the Beast (1991), return to score this live action adaptation, which will include new recordings of the original songs in addition to new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice.

I saw they would sing, was just curious if any new songs would be in the live action one. Looks like they will add a couple though

I went and saw Cinderella a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it. I will definitely see this for that cast and the songs.

Here's some audio of her singing background.

It's hard to tell from that, but I'm sure Disney would not have hired her if she couldn't. She apparently is also getting more training as we speak.

ETA: Apparently she also did some music theater in college.
