I think his performance was what made the movie so intriguing for me. Phenomenal actor.

Definitely. Refn's direction is very cool too, I'm a sucker for flourishes, but the story is just terrible. There's no arc, no discovery, just an insane guy being fricking insane the whole time. Why is Bronson the way he is? No idea. He just is. I was ready for it to be over.
As a side note, just wanna give some love to Warrior. I developed feelings for that movie.

I think I was physically angry when this movie ended. Just a slog to get thru.

I unapologetically love Drive.
Pusher sucked too btw.

He will be in more great films coming up.

Yeah I watched Bronson a couple weeks ago. It was fricking awesome and Tom Hardy was amazing in it.

Black Hawk Down sorta put him on the map then he worked his way to the top. He & Bale are 2 of today's best actors.

I had wondered about why they'd cast him as Bane, then I saw Bronson this weekend. Now I understand.

Bronson was awful.
Youve got to be kidding? Did you not feel like you were in the mind of a complete psychopath that need to bury insecurities and feelings of lack of acceptance by beating the living shite out of every person he came into contact with? That was what the entire film was trying to express.

I was subjected to that movie on a trans-atlantic flight. I highly considered opening the emergency exit door and taking a leap.
I like him as an actor though.

A lot of people don't know he was a scrawny kid in "Black Hawk Down".
He was in both Black Hawk Down and Band of Brothers. It's amazing how many great and very good actors have come from those two casts:
Black Hawk Down
Ty Burrell (Phil Dunphy on Modern Family)
Orlando Bloom
Tom Hardy
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister)
Jeremy Piven
Jason Isaacs
Sam Shepherd
William Fichtner
Eric Bana
Tom Sizemore
Ewan MacGregor
Josh Hartnett
Plus a number of other minor-ish actors who've been nominated for Emmys and have gotten to be fairly well known (Ioan Gruffudd, Ron Eldard, Zeljko Ivanek)
Band of Brothers
Damien Lewis
Michael Fassbender
Tom Hardy
Donnie Wahlberg
Ron Livingston
David Schwimmer
Jimmy Fallon
James McAvoy
Matthew Settle
Scott Grimes
Simon Pegg
Neal McDonough
Michael Cudlitz

He also plays ganster twins in the film Legend that came out last year and I'm dying to see.

He was amazing in it. Make sure you don't have any distractions when watching it or have subtitles on. His accent is very thick in the movie.

One of my favorite actors right now, but I think he was rumored for Suicide Squad but backed out
Also, i feel like he's inaudible at times, like something about his voice annoys me
Otherwise, I love the guy

He was signed on, had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with The Revenant. I'm definitely bummed he couldn't be in it, I don't know much about the actor that replaced him.
