Let's talk about MST3K.

MST3K is one of the most genius things ever made for TV and was so far ahead of it's time it is ridiculous.
It started in 1988 and the concept and execution is just crazy when you think about it starting back then. It feels like something from the Internet age.
It has never really gone away because so many episodes are in full on YouTube and I watch it often. The references are well handled. Not that many that are of the time.

This is a show that needs a reboot. There are some YouTube pages that sort of emulate MST and are hilarious (predominantly Best Of The Worst by Red Letter Media) but nothing with the same production quality or preparation. One of the funniest shows ever.

I'm interested to see the new MST3K when it comes out. I believe they got funding for 14 episodes. Hopefully it's as good as the original.

Love MST3K. If y'all haven't heard of it, check out RiffTrax. It's Michael J. Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy mostly with a few guest riffers here and there. They do a lot of the more current blockbuster movies but still do the B movies.
Them doing the Twilight series makes those movies extremely funny.
