It was 8pm when Kevin left the church proven by the number of gongs by the church bell.
He set up all those traps in an hour?
Hard to believe.
He also spent the time to make Mac and cheese. Did he really think he was gonna have time to eat that close to game time?

Also how did Harry and marv know that he would be at the kitchen door and able to hear them say merry Christmas, open door, yada yada.

Its not like that at all. Uncle Frank wants Kevin to give him a handjob. I suspect he has molested most of the McCalisters at one point, but takes particular joy in molesting Kevin. When Kevin eventually murders his entire family sometime in his late teens, Uncle Frank is first up to bat for the slaughter.

How many pages you up to? When are we going to get the analysis?

I'm guessing he had these plans planned out long in advance to kill his family, but figured that this was a good time to use the plans since he already made his family disappear.

6 pages. Most of the material is from the family rather than anything else. Just got to the Booby trap part. Got some creative ideas on how to go after Home Alone 2 without it being a repeat of the first part.
And I'll start it next Sunday.

Seeing Marv take brick after brick to the face in the second film still makes me fall out laughing.
me, too. In the threads about "scene that always makes you laugh," I ALWAYS post this one. SO. Hilarious.

Explain this to me:
Home Alone 1: Kevin is 8 years old
Home Alone 2 (One year later): Kevin is 10 years old
Home Alone 1: Kevin is 8 years old
Home Alone 2 (One year later): Kevin is 10 years old

I took notice of this when I was like 6.

The frick?
You started this thread FAR too early. Should've just waited until you had something to post. Son, I am disappoint.
Also, someone made a great point about the doggie door but no dog. Never thought about that until just now..

Wanted it to be a whole month ordeal. I've been procrastinating on it a bit to be honest.

They likely boarded him since the McAlisters obviously have no friends who would take care of the dog. Plus the McCalisters are the type of people that encourage their dog to go into the neighbors yard and take shits everywhere.

I also find it hard to believe that old man Duncan owns what looks to be about 20,000sf of Manhattan real estate on 5th avenue, and runs the place like a mom and pop joint from Gary, Indiana
Some more,
1) How could Marv not see a 6 inch tarantula crawling away?
2) Did anyone ever have a pump-action red ryder?
3) You'd think with their money, Kevin would have a bike, but he walked everywhere.

Just read this entire thread. Outstanding stuff and already one of my favorites ever.
Can't wait to read the full analysis from OML.

Bump
Watching it right now.
It was mentioned earlier that Uncle Frank was a mooch.
I forgot that he steals silverware from the plane
