Phones were out.

But I do have a question about the mom in the airport negotiating the ticket back home. When the old lady convinces her husband "Ed" to give up her ticket when Ed says "Oh, alright" is that the voice of Mister Ed the horse?

I didn't go through everyone's posts, but has anyone brought up the idea of Kevin's mom just simply calling the damn house? She's at the airport in part 1 worried about Kevin... why not pick up a damn payphone and see if he's at home and is safe?

The mom was told that "Ma Bell will need a couple of days to patch it up" by the telephone repair guy, and just took his word for it. If she called the next day, it would of worked.

Here's what I noticed in my screening last night.

While at the airport desk she asks " Well what about private?"

and the clerk says "We don't do that"

And that's the end of it.

I have a little experience with this, and you can easily call numerous charters from the airport, in another terminal. Also I guarantee O'Hare has at least a dozen, being the major hub it is. Also Chicago likely has multiple private airports as well. Why'd they give up on the charter after they asked the Delta desk?

The problem isn't that they don't have the capability, it's the attitude of the parents. Mom and Dad are such jerks to everyone, why should they go out of their way to help them.

Ok, so what are the fricking chances of Kevin pinching the arse of the woman Marv previously tried to sexually assault. Chances are in the tens of millions.

Just watched HA again. It bothers me so damn much when the woman in the drug store says "you can pay for that here son" and then escalates her assumptions (doesn't matter if they were correct) way too quickly. How do you know he wasn't going to do some more shopping you old hag.

I also hate how nonchalant the mother is when talking to the police and doesn't adequately explain the situation. "Our sons home alone." Not "our helpless 8 year old son is home alone and were in Paris". For all the cop knew he was 15 and didn't think it was a big deal.

i was thinking this today too. First Kevin and the Bandits randomly bump into each other on the streets of NYC. Then they happen to walk right up behind him again later at Duncan's. Then Kevin grabs the same lady that slapped Marv the day before. The odds of those occurrences in a few day span would break a calculator.

No, OP disappointed in actually putting it all together in one piece. Various pieces of everyone's overanalysis can be taken throughout the thread though.

When someone has some free time (and feels like being a loser for a few hours) I think it'd be cool if someone took all the thoughts and analysis in here and put them in chronological order of when they occur.
