Thsi thread is making me want to watch the doc again. I think this weekend I'll get plastered and watch it.

Yeah, couldn't he be seen as a suppressive person because of that?
He better watch out or all his loved ones will disconnect with him.

tried to tell them but these narrow minded plebs have no idea what they're talking about. They choose to speak and not listen.
if people will just give it a chance they may discover the bridge to total freedom. The only cost is all of your money.

I also learned on 20/20 that she and Mike Rinder get paid to do this show. Does her getting paid to do this, diminish what she is doing?
Absolutely not. Is it a factor you can use to evaluate her credibility? Sure. But people do crazy shite all the time without getting paid for it.
And Rinder is completely credible, BTW.

Especially because he knows all what happens on the inside (in regards to them following/harassing critics) as he used to be the one in charge of doing all that.
That's great he is now friends with many of the journalists that he long ago used to harass when he was a Scientologist. That had to be really awkward at first ("sorry I followed you around saying you were likely a child molester").

For anyone interested - here's Mike Rinder's Blog.
As you might imagine, it's super heavy in Scientology jargon and acronyms, as his #1 audience is the Scientology crowd who's looking to get the frick out of there, but it's an interesting read. I discovered it when I saw a Dianetics billboard on I-285 in Atlanta today on my way into the office. That led me to do a Google search, which turned up that the Atlanta "church" is about a mile inside the Perimeter from that billboard.
Among the front page results was a couple of Rinder's blog entries about the opening of the new Atlanta Org, which went five times over budget and took 8 years to open. The Angry Dwarf Miscavage himself was there for the ribbon cutting, and they were so terrified of a low turnout that they bussed in Sea Org members from Flag and Nashville.
Yikes.
