Like all John Oliver rants, it goes after a situation that is obviously f'ed up, but that everyone else just let's pass because well, what can ya do?
However, it is also a paean to Friday Night Lights.
And his mini rap mocking the San Diego Chargers "Save Our Bolts" rap included the line "when I am in da club, I'm the second most laid".
Sorry, you guys missed it. Maybe now you can go catch on youtube eventually.

It is really sad that John Oliver probably is the best journalist and anchor working in news today. The guy clearly has passion for everything he talks about, and his disdain for what the media does cover over real stories clearly drives him insane. The guy clearly does his homework.

It was funny and it is a fricked up system.

Louisiana Seafood Arena Spiced by Zatarains was almost the name. I'd take Smoothie King Center all day over that...although I wish they'd have called it Smoothie King Arena. Center makes it sound like a warehouse where they make smoothies instead of a sports complex.
Also, worst name in sports goes to:
Talking Stick Resort Arena (the new Suns arena)
