Looks like a pretty kickass movie trailer.

No! If my memory is correct, he drinks some sort of jungle concoction to enhance is already peak-human abilities.

Not in the comics, but it looks like they are going to do either that or a version of the Spiderman origin (something strange enhancing the lion's blood).
This wouldn't be a bad movie if it weren't Kraven. This attempt to make villains more empathetic doesn't always work, to quote someone far wiser than I on crazed movie villain psyches, "some men just want to watch the world burn". Sometimes you don't need anything more than misplaced drive, Kraven's original perverted drive to be the world's greatest hunter is plenty.
Hell, they could just portray him with being obsessed at being the world's greatest hunter and then have the potion he takes (original story) pushing that drive into the Crazy-sphere. That increase in obsession could make for some fun writing, but instead they're going with "daddy issues" (and likely a bit of "people more in touch with nature are more noble" or some similar stance).

Meh. No thanks. Spiderman villain that got handled every time and teams up with Squirrel Girl eventually. LOL

Looks pretty good and gory, but damn looks like they gave a bunch of the movie away in the trailer. I was not a comic book reader so I know nothing of this character.

Looks kinda John Wick-y, but with superpowers

Sony might have something special on their hands if they go rated R format for all villians leading up to a PG-13 spider man trilogy coming in 2024.
Take advantage of marvel studios/disney shitting the bed with each movie coming out. You have your golden boy in Tom Holland. Just let it be spider-man with maybe a few guess appearances by other heroes but not a lot. We need friendly neighborhood spider-man, he is better that way.

I keep hoping that these Sony-verse Spidey villains will lead to a big Andrew Garfield Spiderman movie. But he's almost 40, definitely aging out of that role being possible.

I mean after watching that I'm looking more forward to the video game Kraven in spiderman 2 than this movie.
