I'm really looking forward to this. Same director as Trick R Treat.

"A Christmas Horror Story" is another one I'm looking forward to Trailer

Looks interesting but every time I hear about Krampus all I can think about is that American Dad episode

Am I the only one who thought that looked pretty silly/stupid?

Although I've never heard of Krampus before, so maybe I'm missing something..??

I think it is very "80s throwback" so I think it should have that appeal. You should read up on Krampus though.

Who is credited with bringing Krampus to the American culture forefront first?

American Dad?

It's a wonderful concept which I always thought would make for an interesting horror film, but this looks just as crappy as every other recent film involving the occult or macabre.

The Office

See that's what I was thinking about when I saw it, but that was something different. Dwight came dressed as Belsnickel.

Looks amazing.
My grandmother used to tell my uncle that krumpus would kidnap him and make him work in a mine if he was t good. Didn't really work.

The League is where I first heard of Krampus.

The League Krampus

OP, That trailer did look pretty gremlins/chucky 80's bad horror movie like.
