I was too busy being taken out of the film with every appearance of Elton John to notice any additional gay vibes.

I thought the addition of EJ was actually pretty funny. IMO the writing and concept of the films are not to be taken too seriously and they hit a good casting mark with him. I think he fit the role of Poppy's prisoner perfect. She was all about the flamboyant ambiances that EJ personifies on a daily basis. Her retro burger joint, bowling alley, and the entire little mountain village she created.

The Elton stuff was good, although his action scene was a little much. Honestly, the funniest part of his inclusion was that the robo-dogs were named Bennie and Jet

just saw it tonight and I laughed nearly every time Elton John was on the screen. i really liked him when she was showing the stages of the poison when he was still yelling at the guy in the background.

- I was really surprised that they wiped out everyone except Egsy and Merlin. I didn't see that coming.

- I actually liked Moore's villain in her old school mom psychopathic way.

- I think they had to include the Statesman Americans to get Harry back. i forgot that he was "killed" in Kentucky and didn't even link that until they revealed it.

- The action was on point for nearly the whole movie. I really liked the mimic of the first fight scene and then Harry misses and gets his arse kicked.

Princess Tilde was a lot better looking than that girl Eggsy had to get with at that music festival

I wholly agree. The hippy girl was hot at the bar and then she stripped down and was the thickness of my dick. Im not a chubby chaser at all but that girl was a twig.

I also liked how Charlie was the villain and you saw him several times in the trailer but couldn't tell it was him.

Hoping for a Statesman in the next one named Pina Colada and a full fight sequence to the Pina Colada song.

did she say that someone kept voting against her rather than just promoting another guy? She was just their version of Merlin, that was why Merlin put on the suit at the end. He didn't have the chance before and was going to when he could (that we know of).

I hate that Merlin went down at the end though, he was a great character and I would think that a very advanced tech guy with great morals would be a tough get in today's age. I think Mark Strong probably didn't want to be attached to a long running series like this could be and went out like a boss.

I think she said it was Whiskey/Pedro Pascal that kept voting against her. Which is why she was unanimously voted in at the end of the film.

We saw the first on Friday and Golden Circle, last night. There were a lot of jokes that folks didn't catch.

I loved everything except Halle Berry. She and her "one drop theory" can frick off. Hope she's not in the next one.

I saw it last night and loved it..
I thought the song choices were a little off.. but still fun with the action.

I love the over the top villians and campy parts.. I thought Elton was funny but maybe a little over done.

Overall good entertainment.

I thought it was great. Not as good as the first one, which is just a transcendent movie, but very good. It was a bit long and there was so much going on in the plot that it was incredible that Vaughn was able to tell the story coherently, but it was a great send up to the superhero genre of today. It was almost an audition piece for Vaughn to take over the DCEU. From the beginning of the movie when you see the "S" superimposed over the chest of a Kingsman blazer to the superhuman strength that they displayed more freely this go around, to the enormous amount of plotlines going on, the whole thing felt like a massive superhero movie and a good one at that.

And the Statesmen were great. I loved that whole thing. I loved how alcohol, the most freely available drug on the market, made Statesmen, the good guys, gobs of money, while Poppy (because of course her name would be Poppy living in Cambodia and being a drug kingpin) has to live in secrecy and is a bad guy. The whole war on drugs angle was fantastic.

Not only an attack on the war on drugs, but the scenes of the blue rash concentration camp seemed to be illustration of America's prison system.

there were certainly some political statements going on in the movie.
