Alright here's the spoiler thread y'all. Let's talk about it here. I thought it was pretty fun, not as good as the first but still good.

Pros

Egsy and Merlin
The Statesmen need a spin off
Elton John was hilarious
While not as good as SLJ, Poppy was a good villain. (Radical Libertarian )
The final fight was amazing
The action was great once again

Cons

Killing off Roxy was pretty shitty
Channing Tatum was a glorified cameo
Harry while good was kind of not needed
Was really hoping for a twist at the end, but nope
The President was way over the top

Channing Tatum, or lack there of, was weird. Did he have some movie commitments come up or something? Or was he only there to set up a third movie?

It was hard to root against the villain

I still loved the movie. Final scene was amazing

It was good. The first one was way better imo. I thought Elton was used to much. He had more screen time then Channing.

Pacing was not great, and it was too long. It was fun and entertaining which is pretty much what I expected. Didn't live up to the first one, but it was a good popcorn flick.

Too much Elton John. A cameo would've worked. Making him into an action star was too much.

You can see the seam in the movie when they realized that Channing Tatum wouldn't be available for his original role. That was distracting.

Jeff Bridges is stuck in his True Grit role.

Colin Firth was mentally out of it for too much of the film.

Other than that, it was a fun evening, worth the money.

Nice that Halle Berry went from Bond Girl, to Q, to Bond.

I turned to my buddy in the middle of the bad guys speech

"I demand they legalize all drugs and I will pay legal taxes and run like a legal business, pouring in billions of revenue into americas economy and millions of tax dollars into the government"

....okay so where's the bad part there?

I mean I know it was the poisoning the hundreds of millions of people and killing all but 3 of the Kingsman but she made good points

Technically she didn't even want to do that, she just wanted to use them as leverage

Killing the dog and the hot friend were the only unforgivable crimes. I really thought he was gonna end up with the Kingsmen chick at some point, didn't know they were gonna make the princess his long term thing

Why oh why did they have to bring in the Cowboy shite into it? Why Americanize it?

Keep it what it was, a British secret agency, who didn't take itself way 2 serious.

I loved the first one, for exactly what it was. We didn't need American heroes, especially cowboys.

Because only a cuck would fingerbang her. She is a vile woman.

I thought it was a nice changeup and they are going back to Britain.

I thought they made multiple poor choices, like the whole relationship arc and the killing off of everyone in the first five minutes and I wasn't a fan of the villain and I would have liked to see channing Tatum in the role as whiskey, but still a fun movie and I'm still on board for the third movie

Saw it tonight. Little drop off from the first, which was damn near a perfect popcorn movie, but fun watch nonetheless.

Yeah I was hoping Tilde would die and Roxy would live

I did like that Merlin died, made it have consequences. I was also hoping Channing would have a bigger role. I don't think we need a Statesman spin off.
Wasn't a fan of Moore's villain.

But if they get a great villain for the 3rd one, with Firth, Tatum and Edgerton, it should be a fun third act

No and please don't suggest that's where they were going with it.
