I'm very concerned this movie is going to be really good but get nothing but shite on because it will never live up to the original. I will see this on release, but I just don't see how it can match up.

I noticed on the IMDB page that Elton John is in it. I'm curious if it will be a cameo as himself or an actual character.
In fact, I really hated Samuel L Jackson as the villain in the first movie. Imagine Elton John playing that role. It would have been much more hilarious and believable with the lisp and the fear of guns/violence. Jackson just didn't fit, in my opinion.

My guess is the Kingsman glasses are bullet proof. The bullet penetrated since it was point blank range, but he only lost his eye. Then again, who knows. He could be a cyborg or an evil twin in this one
