All I had known was the musical Oz. Then my parents let me watch a movie that starts off with Dorothy getting electric shock therapy in a creepy arse asylum type place and then when we get to Oz there are the MFing Wheelers and a crazy arse queen who collects young women's heads.
That shite was a bad acid trip for a kid.

The part that freaked me out was when Atreyu made it to the southern oracle. The music, the voices, all of it creeped me out.
To me, that was the GOOD kind of scary. If you know what I mean. I was terrified and uncomfortable, but I felt brave for watching if that made sense.
