My guess is we don't know ends up Bond until they actually announce it. I tend to agree with Kinnear in the article that media will pimp a few guys and then it always ends up being someone else.

Part of me wants Theo James to get the nod but then he'll be roped into multiple years as Bond and not much else.

Always confuse him with Logan Marshall-Green (Upgrade) on hyphenated name basis alone.

Hoping that they get away from making his film series one, long, ongoing story. Bond is much better in done-in-one films.

Since they went with a younger actor, maybe they will go back and tell the story of Bond's early years with MI6.

Good decision. Would have preferred Henry Cavill but this guy was my number 2. None of that Idris Elba nonsense thankfully

This guy is 33 years old. His career is really starting to kick off with big-budget leading roles, and he's married to a 57-year-old woman.
Its only a matter of time that they divorce unless it’s an “open marriage” already. I don’t believe for a second this dude isn’t sleeping around. It’s like people acting like Lebron James has never cheated on his wife because he said so

Give Nolan a trilogy.

If not, then focus on stand alone films with loose continuity like before Craig. Have Bond get a mission, do actual spy/espionage stuff, and then save the world. That formula worked just fine for 40 years.

No more “Bond goes rogue and battles someone from his past.” Please God no more “This Bond girl is not your typical Bond girl” crap either.

He’s put out good work lately. Was great in Bullet Train. He’s really evolved.

This is who I thought would get it.

Ascending actor, really well suited for the part imo.

Could you imagine the uproar if the sexes were reversed here?
Old men dating younger women that are of legal age isn’t really a big deal and never has been

It’s more of an “outage” when it happens like this

He went on to star as teenage John Lennon in “Nowhere Boy” in 2009, where he met his now-wife and the film’s director Sam Taylor-Wood.

Taylor-Johnson was 18 when he met Taylor-Wood, who was 42 at the time. The pair tied the knot three years later.

I would say the chances are zero since he was born Aaron Johnson. He took his wife's name. It also doesn't sit right with me for James Bond to be married to a 60 year old. I'm sorry but that's weird.

You know who does these things? Gay dudes.

(not that there's anything wrong with that)

Watch The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and you'll change your mind.

Then how do you not see that he has the acting chops for the role, plus physically he's the perfect Bond archetype?

I think JB needs an "edge" or suaveness that Cavill doesn't have, IMO. Cavill is like an almost too handsome jock. Hard to describe the difference. As much as I liked him in UNCLE and Fallout, I think he'd be a boring 007.
