The problem is that they keep starting over. Before they made the Garfield Spiderman movies, they were close to doing a Spiderman 4 movie with Maguire. They decided instead to do a reboot. I wish they would have just made Spider Man 4 to try to end that series on a high note, then team up with Marvel for a reboot. Hate to say it, but James Franco was right. The reboot was a bad idea. It was a HUGE step back for Spiderman.

No, that movie was shite. Its all the people that bitched about Spiderman 3 that are to blame for the sorry state the Spidey Franchise is in.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of the worst big budget movies I've ever seen.

Both movies were a mess. Both movies relied on LARGE plot changes AFTER shooting. Truly dreadful films that deserved the Terra Nova Treatment.
