Kelly's Heroes is fantastic, while Three Kings is simply a very solid flick. Not really close.

Oddball wasn't a hippie from the 60's, he was a beatnik from the 40's. The beatnik culture wasn't really popularized until the late 40's/early 50's so it's a little anachronistic but I suppose an argument could be made that the culture existed a few years before it was actually named. Close enough for Hollywood to get away with anyway.

Except that Sutherland is clearly spoofing hippies

THIS is a spoof of beatniks

Kelly's Heroes not close.

I saw it with my father and cousin when it came out long ago.

Clint is a big time collector of WWII items.

I watch Kelly's Heroes at least once a year. Usually twice.

I've seen Three Kings once. Once.
