Thought it was pretty awesome. I don't know what was going on, but it was quite beautiful. Might get into it whenever I am done with finals. Read books/ watch the show or go onto something else?
Sorry if this is dumb. I will do anything to get my mind off finals for a minute
ETA: What's up with the dragons?

It is well worth getting into. If you've spent any amount of time on the Movie board then the amount of threads will support this statement.

Yeah that's what I noticed. This place got me to watch Breaking Bad and holy bejesus that was amazing

I think you'll love it. There's all kinds of ways to see repeats and missed episodes. If you have HBO, get HBOGO ,it's free with HBO, you can see old shows and catch up. They repeat each show each week almost every night at 8:00 and 10:00. The only thing is, some people get killed and it can be confusing if you miss shows. Just come on here, the TV rant, and ask questions, you'll get responses. There's a rant on Thrones everyday.

I watched the first season before reading the books. Although it made the first book a little slow, it gave me faces to put with the characters and it helped flesh things out a bit more. I would recommend watching the first season, read the books, then watch the 2nd season. That should make for a very full summer. ;)

Highly recomend both the books and the show.
Whichever you choose or whatever order you decide to go in if you do both, a bit of a warning:
If you are spoiler adverse stay away from any threads on here marked "for book readers" or marked as spoilers.
