Just started watching LOST

Been lookingg for something else to watch and finally gave this a go after a while. One of the reasons i waited so long was because of mixed reviews ive heard over the years about this show... especially in the later seasons.
Im a few episodes in, and so far its pretty good. But i dont want to continue if I know im not gonna finish it. For those who have watched, what did you think about it? Is it worth continuing? Try not to include any spoilers. Thanks

Definitely finish watching it. It's the first show I was ever hooked on that I had to watch it every time a new episode came out.

The question to finish it is dependent on one question: have you finished Episode 4 and did you love it? If so, finish it. If you think the episode is bullshite, then the series isn't for you.

I loved it when I watched it and enjoyed the ride fwiw. I was not satisfied with the ending and will likely never watch again. It was pretty disappointing but I think you should finish it and decide for yourself.

I did this exact same thing. Just finished the first episode over the weekend. I liked it until they found out they weren't alone and then I don't know if I should keep going.

I started watching when season 4 was airing and simply could not stop. First show that ever had that effect on me.

It should be required viewing. It's not The Wire or Breaking Bad or Mad Men or wherever your tastes fall, but it's something everyone should watch. It's worth it.
I haven't watched it again just because it seems like such a huge commitment, but binge watching without a 2 hour catch-up episode once a month would def go faster.
Which those catch-up eps were helpful watching in "real time", since there were so many breaks, characters and story lines.
But it's definitely something you should watch. It won't take long until you're hooked anyway.
I can't believe I managed to watch it start to finish IRL. Seems like it took a decade.

For as amazing as the series is, the finale is just as shitty. Completely undoes all the drama and brilliance of the show and it's painfully obvious they couldn't think of some twist ending.

I've watched the entire series twice. It's definitely worth finishing. Great characters. Great chemistry between actors. Good direction for the most part. Writing is hit and miss at times. I really enjoyed it.

I take issue with that. And to the OP the finale is probably the most divisive episode of all time. You either think it was perfect or it sucked.
