Finished season 2. So many high points.
-Flint successfully regaining his captaincy.
-Billy exposing that traitorous bastard Dufresne
-The rise of Silver
-Everything at Charlestown. I’ll be honest, I always hated Mrs. Barlow and I’m glad Ashe’s man was so trigger happy.
MVPirate: Jack mf’n Rackham
-Winning his first prize as Captain
-Securing the Urca gold
-Successfully negotiating a relationship with Anne AND Max
Runner Up: Charles Vane
Time to start season 3 and the arrival of the GOAT, Ray Stevenson, rest in peace sweet prince.

Oh, hell yes! 
ETA: I paused my rewatch pending some of this. I know others have started their rewatching, but this is great news. For baws and bawettes that haven't seen it yet. This is going to be awesome.

Black Sails is terrific. Y'all know I poke fun at all the Poli stuff, but I give honest recs and Black Sails is terrific.

oh i love it. fantastic series.
on the "poli" stuff, i usually point to that as an incredibly well done story that has gay characters that doesn't make it the crux of the show and thus, most people are completely fine with it.
most of the complaining about diversity casting is when the product is bad and they made whatever message the central point instead of a good product. when the product is good and it has diversity/gay stuff, people are way more tolerant.

My favorite character by far. That's saying something given how many good characters there are. Jack, Silver, Flint, and Anne's story arcs are just crazy good.

Such a badass. Can't wait till April 17th to start the rewatch. It's been 2 years since I've watched it and that's the longest I've ever gone in between rewatches

And I want to be very clear, posters like yourself that actually contribute to the board and discuss movies/tv but chime in on poli type stuff isn't an issue at all. No one should have an issue with that and I certainly don't.
My problem is the drive-by PT posters that when you look up post history 19/20 of their last posts were on PT, but they got bored and need to chime saying the same shite on Disney, blacks, gays, females, all the normal triggers. All they do is derail threads and make it difficult to filter through their shite.
I think the Alex Garland thread kinda triggered me when one dude said he has, "no idea who Alex Garland is, but here's my opinion..."
That hurts my brain man.
