Chris Pratt trilogy is basically a lock now

Chris Pratt will be in pretty much every tent pole for the next 10 years and I'm perfectly okay with that

Pretty insane. Went from a "guest star" appearance on P&R and parlayed that into being an A lister and the coolest dude in Hollywood.

And it was pretty obvious that he was one of the best things on that show from day one. They made a great choice obviously by keeping him on. I'm glad he's getting paid because he deserves it. Anyone who saw P&R early on knew it was just a matter of time (and maybe a couple of months in the gym ). Really happy for him.

It's really funny because he was supposed to be an antagonist in P&R and everyone still just loved the guy. He's too likeable, I don't know who thought that was a good idea to try and make him an a-hole boyfriend

I think it tells us a couple things:

1) we still go to movies in the summer to be entertained
2) we are getting tired of superheroes and want something different
3) Chris Pratt is going to be the next Harrison Ford-type franchise star (although honestly, I'd put him more as a Tom Selleck type, but with Ford-type movies).

This movie had a solid premise.....fast forward and they got the park up and running smoothly....

But, what can the next story line be?? I hope they work hard on the script and don't focus on just pumping out the next one as soon as possible.

Agreed.

Not at all. We just like things that are larger than life. Superheroes, dinosaurs, space battles, dystopian war. We like seeing those big, loud fantasies come to life whatever the form.

I have no idea where he's going. He's obviously got this to look forward to, as well as GOTG2 and the later Avengers movies.Dude is ina good place right now. Good for him.

Meh, it reenforces that family movies make the most dough. Mom, Dad, the kids and all of their friends went to this one, whereas Mom and Dad don't get out to every superhero movie.

I think I saw that JW did $87 mil. on opening day alone. That's pretty crazy, seeing as how it's kind of shitty.

Well I think it went from Jurassic Park to Jurassic World because it will eventually end up being somewhere other than the islands.
