Sometime last year they got better terms on their deals with the CW and now get their shows pretty soon after the season. They have a similar deal with ABC now too. I guess one of the benefits of NetFlix cutting so much 3rd party content is they can spend more on what's left to get better deals.

I worked on the movie Headshot for one day a couple years ago when they were allowed to hire outside of the union. Should be an awful movie.
