I'm stunned by the positive responses in this thread. That movie looks like a steaming pile of shite. Like a bottom tier Adam Sandler movie.

Plus it's by Sony, and while they've recently broken their curse with Baby Driver and apparently Spider-Man Homecoming, those were made by outsiders from the company. Really Sony just needs to raise the white flag and stop making movies.

They were filming it at Kualoa ranch in Hawaii while we were there. Looks terrible I should have stopped it.

Yeah, every time I see it in movies these days I just think "LOST". I know that ranch well and where multiple scenes were shot.

They filmed so many great scenes in lost where my cousins live in the north shore. We would go hike and walk to these places. It's like the backyard to them but I was freaking out

I like that it isn't just a remake.
I wouldn't pay to see it, or even leave my house to see it for free, but if it makes it to Netflix I'd watch it.
